mr chippy's fish and chips up a whopping 10% now £5.50p for small cod and chips

not for me fish and chips has to have a large element of seaside. i'm now officially a meals on wheels service for the dementia in-laws.

apologetically mr chippy telled me the actual arsed increase in prices of a box of cod and cooking oil, (i sucked in some air through my teeth to go along with it) not to mention diesel. "nobody has complained though" apparently which suggests an air of stoicism among the general public in these trying times. i like mr chippy, he always calls me boss and bids me a valedictory "night night". old school.
