I’m sure she’s very competent at what she does but

The further consolidation of power in the hands of two people who appear to have few day to day checks and balances is a bit of a “concern.”

We really needed someone fresh at that level or above Ward and Webber to provide some independent thinking/oversight in my view.

And yes at a time when the Sporting Director should be under pressure from above you could argue there is a lack of “reading the room” although I suppose they would counter by saying who she is married to should not be relevant.
