Feel a bit sorry for him in a way.

He didn't sign any of these players and has tried to get them to play his way which takes time.
In summary..

(1) Didn't sign the players.
(2) Change the system.
(3) Needed instant results.

It all boils down to quality.
Virtually every Man City manager is going to be successful to one degree or another.

My feeling is we rolled the dice on a ton of signings and most just haven't worked out.
That is a common theme with virtually every club that is relegated from the PL.
Normally they buy players that just dont work out.
