Most disappointing for me was seeing how little

£50M investment gets in practice.

Not been spent brilliantly, true, but Newcastle are showing the level of investment that would really be needed to get established.

Seems fanciful under *any* likely scenario.

Football is broke.

Morally

And also financially really. Seems more a ponzi scheme than ever before.
