walnut trees are the nuts

they make a fair old mess but they are beautiful. ours must be over a hundred year old at least, we were having a bit of walnut tree chat yesterday and i read they live to be around 150 year old and get up to 60 feet high which is pretty much where ours is at. we've an owl box in ours but it's a squirrel bunker now.
