That's not to say sacking Farke was wrong. I think we could have brought in any new guy and we'd still be where we are now, you just hope for a bounce and a bit of momentum gained from that.

The players simply aren't good enough. We relied too heavily on 2 players last season who aren't with us now. It gave us a misguided sense that we were better than we actually were. It also shows how weak the squad is without them. Easy in hindsight to say the new signings are crap and I don't remember too much criticism when they were 1st came in. Everyone was quite excited.

Looking at the Bonesaw Barcodes shows we probably needed to spend £100m to have a chance of staying up.
It's a bigger issue as to where we are. Our glass ceiling is 20th in the Prem until something changes.
