You're right, and the Air Bnb I stayed in was fantastic, just a room in a lady's house for

£35, I reckon she spent £5 on the breakfast, gave me a key and left me to it. Very trusting, not a brilliant area but perfect for a 20 minute walk to the car's location in the morning.
Liverpool is one of those places where there are some fantastic buildings, old pubs, 20thC churches, hotels and parades of shops which are all sadly run down and decaying. Such a shame. I love having a wander about. It was pretty empty everywhere.
