The top of the league is f**ked as it’s full of clubs so absurdly dominant, you need 100 pts to win the league. Then the tier below them (regular billionaires that can’t compete with countries/oligarchs) are f**ked. Then the group of yo-yo clubs below them are f**ked, as they’re just ground hogging the same two seasons time after time. Then the tier below them, made up of festering write off clubs where a billionaire tipped a load of money in and got burned, are f**ked. Then the tier below them, made up of real, small community clubs are f**ked, as they have no chance of getting anywhere.
There’s little movement between these groups, and most movement is temporary. Forest for example, probably won’t get promoted, and will then lose three or more players in the summer. And then they’ll go back to being f**ked, and utterly unable to compete with, say, us.
It’s all f**ked. Unless you support Man City. (Or in future, Newcastle.)
But nobody in the game cares - literally nobody will do a thing - as they’re all making SO MUCH MONEY compared to any currently viable alternative. Until the global super league comes.
