The outrage came predominantly from the fans of the

uber wealthy clubs but not through any toss given for football but just for how it would affect them. Fans of Chelski and Man City etc have become reliant on entitlement to win all the time. They’ve forgotten the point of sport! I don’t really understand how they can get so excited about their dominance. It’s based purely on dubious foreign money, not as a result of their club being ‘bigger’ or doing things better.

What gets to me about the situation is pundits and journalists effectively ignoring what’s going on with football and instead jumping on the bandwagon and fawning over just how good Man City are. Of course they’re bloody good, they just buy whoever and virtually whenever they want. Clearly sometimes to weaken opposition clubs when they know the player will spend most of the time on the bench. It’s a truly s**t state of affairs but nobody in the mainstream media wants to question it and help do something about it.
