I don't understand this view.

When you're mired in the s**t - as we very much were - any wins make a massive difference.

The confidence levels will have soared and we have played pretty well in spells. Something we absolutely didn't do against Palace for example.

However 'lucky' we may have been, we've won four in five while Brentford have lost five on the spin and Watford/Burnley have a combined zero wins in 20.

20 games!!

No-one is now saying we *will* stay up - but we now have a small chance. That's all we could probably have hoped for a month ago.

But I don't see anyone getting carried away or in need of any kind of reality check.
