Of course we must bear in mind that we are shown only a tiny (and Officially Approved) portion of what they do each week (10 mins out of maybe 25 hours?)

For all we know they may spend half an hour every week re-enacting the infamous Reed/Bates fireplace scene.

I've also got a more serious question: in the winter months why don't they do the intial warm-up in the dome? It is clearly warmer in there and so you can bring the body up to working temp quicker & with less shock.

Any experts wanna chip in?
