And it is worth saying that the rates will vary depending on how you pay your bill, and which region you live in.

But these are the rates (I think!) for a Eastern region customer paying Standard Credit.

Gas. 29.3p/day standing charge. 4.1 p/kWh
Elec. 27.2p/day standing charge. 20.9 p/kWh

Havent worked them out, but Direct Debit equivalents will be a bit cheaper.

Ovo currently offering me a 1 year fix for elec that is 48p/day standing, 30p per unit, and for gas 27 p/day 8p per unit. So yeah, thanks but no thanks.
