Haven't our last couple of games suggested that you really don't have to

be a super wealthy club to stay up? You just need to be reasonably competent, because there will always be a few super wealthy clubs in crisis and freefall during any given season. We've been pretty terrible all season, and just two wins against poor opposition has seen us genuinely give ourselves a fighting chance of staying up. All it has taken is a manager playing a bit more of a pragamtic style and the players having a bit more confidence.

Brentford's performances as well this season suggest the same. Having a manager with a plan, and a squad well motivated can compete with clubs chucking hundreds of millions at it.

It's certainly harder not having huge money, but it's certainly not impossible.
