Todd came back from Holland and I think the change of scenery helped fuel that,

maybe now for a kid that has spent nearly 15 years at the club he needs to break away for good. I think he (or his agent) has tried to engineer that this season. I could understand the typical agent ruse of downing tools to force a move in the summer transfer window but after that he needed to get his head down and work hard but for whatever reason, he tried to force things more to such a point he was removed from the 1st team under Farke. There was no way back from there, even with the change of manage. He now has to build his career again but as Simon says I don't think he has the skills and definitely not the strength for a lower league fight. I am surprised he didn't take the reported offer from spain, it would have suited his game so much more.
