My ex has one and when we meet to kidswap (I have some, she has some) she has to spend an hour charging up to get back again after. I don't have a drive so couldn't charge it at home. And they're expensive, and the charging infrastructure isn't what it should be yet. A few years and all those things should change, though. And if you can home charge and never or rarely do long runs they'd be ace.
