Bit of a summary

Last season we had three phenomenal midfield players, Skipp, Buendia and Cantwell. Skipp went back to Spurs, we sold Buendia to Villa and Cantwell isn’t playing. They are all talked about individually, but together they were the heart of the team. Any team would struggle loosing three talents like that. Why does no one focus on that?

Dowell has looked lost without Buendia and Cantwell to play short sharp passes to, adding another to the missing list. Pukki is missing Buendia and probably Cantwell, but having Idal appears to help.

If Idah and Josh continue to thrive and with all the injured players coming back we might have a chance. Such a disappointment with and for Sorensen getting injured when he appeared to be plugging a vital hole. He doesn’t stand out but we miss him when he is not there!

I’m looking forward to seeing more of Normann and Rashics too.

At least we have hope now after it threatened to be a long and painful season.
