having reviewed the footage and taken statements from key personnel at the game including rafa benitez and his satff and the everton fc directors, i have reached the conclusion that the first "norwich" goal could be deemed to be an own-goal in some quarters, however after consulting with skysports, watched the replay countless times in slo-mo and taken statements from all the everton supporters i have reached the conclusion that the goal was scored by an everton player, past the everton keeper of the goal who is innocent of any wrongdoing and didn't know that there was a so-called "oen-goal" going on and then as the ball went into the everton goal this leads me to the obvious conclusion that there is nothing wrong with that and all the elements of the goal were in fact attributable to everton and not norwich therefore it is a fact that everton won the game 2-1 and no further action need be taken and the matter is now officially closed and mr benitez can have his job back.
