I would say the bowling department can be relatively pleased with their work

Given injuries and rotation, and a weakness bowling at the tail, they’ve generally been ok. Nothing Earth-shattering, sure, and Leach isn’t the spinner we’re looking for, but if Robinson could improve his fitness and condition, there’s still a couple of years in Anderson and Broad so there’s something to build on.

The batting, on the other hand…
