Just back from the game

This has probably already been done to death, but:

Idah was really impressive, he looked strong and held the ball up really well at times. Topped off with a goal, well deserved MOTM.

Thought the defense did really well, special mentions though to Hanley & Gibson who together were excellent

That's the best game I've seen PLM have for us, hope he maintains it now for the rest of the season.

As for the others, there wasn't a bad performance from anyone in Y&G...very good team display.

Everton...started in typical Benitez fashion I thought, quite defensive and seemingly happy to let us have the ball...then, a couple of mistakes and they are two goals down. As for starting with Rondon over Richarlison, maybe Rafa has had enough of working on Merseyside already.

Sat on the sofa now with a Brewdog Punk IPA, chicken jalfrezi and pilau rice shortly.
