Is it quite likely that, given the well-known 'not for sale' stance

potential owners just don't bother even approaching?

Or is it the case that those clubs that have changed hands recently were actively looking for new owners, and had people working on doing so?

How likely is it that billionaires or syndicate groups just randomly approach, say, Southampton and say "can we buy you"?
