Not so bad last night

No shame in a 2-0 defeat to West Ham. I really feared we were going to get humped as per other recent games, so a nice simple defeat rather than a mauling is good. And Bowen is a great player in hot form, so easy to say we should have done this or that, but he is quality.

None of that changes the fact we look a long way off in every department, but at this stage I think it’s mostly about getting ourselves out of the media glare.

Next four games are massive though. Three of them “winnable”? In principle at least. Although it’s pretty hard to be optimistic. I don’t think we’ve ever needed a performance more than we do vs Everton this weekend.
