Years and years ago, we came back on the ferry from St Malo to...

Portsmouth and we were the last boat to leave before they stopped sailings. It was an evening crossing. Anyway, got on board and I'll always remember the French Captain in that oh so chilled out accent came over the tannoy "The sea tonight, is not umm, exactly flat but I think we will survive". Remember my dad laughing whilst mum looked sheepish. Really rough!! Dad took me for a walk along the corridor so we could go and look out the window and remember sounds of people throwing up but amazing seeing the waves smash into the portholes!! Exciting!!
