Look where covid has taken us in such a short time

A state and people we would have thought of as quite benign now behaves in this way. We cheerlead enthusiastically as politicians say they' like to put the unvaccinated in the s**t; we suggest they not be treated medically; we criminalise and lock them up, and deport them. Think in this country who those people are - predominantly those who are already on the margins in some way. Maybe we should make them wear some sort of badge, so we know not to let them in? Or so we can spit on them in the streets, for being bastards? Make sure they're tuned away before then infect us?
I don't much like Djoko, but I like much less the sheer ugliness of some of the reaction to him.
