it is not in the club's or the player's interest for that to be made public.
From the club's point of view it would make it obvious you have a player effectively on strike, which rather limits your ability to negotiate any sort of decent fee.
From the player's point of view it makes you look like a problem character, which might impact any deal you get at a new club.
So both sides will maintain it is a genuine injury whatever the truth, and frankly that is the correct thing to do.
I made this point earlier in the season when he was supposedly out for 'personal reasons' but its still true.
