Yes and our turnover was £120m (deflated a bit by covid) and

our expenses were £107m inflated somewhat by the high level of payments we had to make on promotion which presumably were not replicated this year.

We made a £16m post tax profit last year/season.

We also know we have assets to sell if need be.

So all in all one would hope there is enough in the pot to find us a holding midfielder from somewhere (even if we have to go into debt temporariy) to try and stay in the division as our "net spend" does not appear excessive so far. I'm not advocating spending £20m.

Mind you had we not wasted so much in the summer we would obviously have been in a better position.
