There is a public order issue here though.

I'm not saying this is an easy issue to resolve but we remain in a delicate phase and Australians (as they may wish to say) could spit the dummy if preferential treatment is given to high profile individuals after some incredibly tough periods of lockdown (far more serious than ours).

You then might find that adherence to future restrictions/guidelines is weakened.
