During his heroin phase

Not mentioned in the doc but this period was when him and Yoko were on the smack. He looks out of it during the film studios bit, less so when they get back to Apple abd the great Billy Preston makes an appearance.

For me Ringo just looked bored a lot of the time (perhaps unsurprisingly). The bit where him and Harrison work on octopus’s garden is great though
