Look at the data for patients on mechanical ventilation rather than cases

Even if you look at London where cases numbers are ridiculous, there is only a mild increase in those needing ventilation. I would hazard a guess that they broadly fall into the categories unvaccinated and/or serious underlying medical conditions.
