Enough for me to be relatively sanguine about the cases: hospitalisation ratio

I have spent most of the pandemic being over cautious / over worried.

Seems like many (I saw some figures suggesting most) of those in hospital were incidental. Caught covid in hospital after being admitted for something else or admitted for something else while having Omicron.

I will play it safe over the next week and see how the figures look in new year.
