It’s all pretty toxic at the minute isn’t it?

Everything is disintegrating it feels. Just waiting for stories to emerge of a giant Smith/Shakes bust up to complete the picture of perfect disunity.

I reckon we just need to bite down on the wooden spoon one more time, take our impending massive raw humping from Leicester and then we can regroup. We might well get knocked out by Charlton too (assume the brace position for that), but by Everton in mid Jan hopefully we’ll have some players back and S&S can restore some semblance or order. If we can get back to toothless but hard working 1-0 defeats and 0-0 draws, compared to getting rolled over 3+ to nil, that will be progress.

A long bleak winter awaits.
