I read that sweden

Had the lowest European excess deaths in 2021, interestingly (figures were in the economist apparently, though I haven't looked). Also v little impact on education and children. But of course sweden is not the UK and one can't necessarily just read across. Also read that they didn't have a pandemic plan so just copied ours (which we then abandoned).
