before farke was sacked

i was castigated for blaming the performance of the players and got some stick for this. watching the last 3 matches i feel vindicated somewhat, though it doesnt make me feel any better.

so i am going to re-iterate my point. the players have to take more responsibility for their own performances. ppl said that they werent playing for Farke and that he'd lost the dressing room. we now know that wasnt true.

i dont want to use the usual phrases of manning up but ALL of the players need to understand it's a priveledge to be a professional footballer and to play for our team.

ppl pay a considerable amount of money to watch you and expect you try your best. and what i have seen, and i appreciate this is only my opinion, you are not doing this.

for me it's not about ability, its about effort, pride and self belief. and if you cant motivate yourself you need to leave professional football for good.
