He’s not helped by the s**t show he’s joined

And the fact that every pundit says he’s absolutely amazing. He clearly isn’t. And it’s pretty clear that he wasn’t what we needed, or at least if we were going to get him then we needed to put some real physical grafters alongside him. And we have totally failed to do that.

But he’s working hard and always tries, even if his performances have not been great. Others are hiding from the ball, but he isn’t it. Very harsh to be giving him stick.
