Taking Burnley et al (I think these are more realistic than Leicester, tbh), what have they each achieved since they each last got promoted to the PL?
From memory, I think Burnley have qualified for Europe but got knocked out in the qualifiers before the group stage whereas Palace have lost an FA Cup final. Otherwise, for each of them the season has started with the main aim being to avoid relegation and ultimately probably losing more games than are won.
I can fully understand why to a Chief Exec that may represent success because of the PL money, however is that success from a fan's perspective?
Since we went down to L1 in 2009, the past 12 years have been brilliant fun. We've won three league titles, won a play off final at Wembley and achieved a further promotion to the PL as well.
Who do you honestly think has had the better time as a football supporter in the past few years? NCFC fans or those of Burnley, Palace, Southampton and Brighton?
