I can't see how Gilmour fits in with what we need tbh

He's not got enough bite to play further back and playing further forward he doesn't seem to have the end product /threat.

He's not terrible, just not convinced that he's better than Dowell.

Maybe Gilmour in a central two with Sorenson? In 4-2-3-1?

All a bit deckchairs as has been said, but trying to identify players who work well together will be key for the second half of the season, for the transfer window and for next year.
