We do seem have spent a boat load of money on

- two left wingers when we didn’t obviously need even one
- a CDM (just before the end) who is apparently crocked for a while with something that crocked him for a lot of last season
- a CB who makes more mistakes than our already accident prone set
- a striker who can’t control the ball, beat a man, shoot and has no obvious footballing instinct
- a midfielder who hasn’t improved us technically of physically (can’t help thinking that Mario on the bench would be a far better option than PLM)

As posted over and over, given that we lost Skipp (a brilliant CDM) and Buendia (RW) it’s now not obvious what the plan was to replace and strengthen.

I am already s**tting it for next year. I can see where this ends up, back in the champs with a much less inspiring squad, no Emi, Max sold to balance the books and an ageing Pukki. We may not even yo-yo from here, unless Webber, Shakes and Smiffy can really turn this around.
