In fairness to our owners, they are clever enough to appoint the best people

to run the club day to day within their own budget. I think that was a brilliant decision. The appointment of Webber and as a consequence Farke has secured the club financially and improved the facilities massively.

The model at Prem level falls down when the budget is so restricted we need to sell assets to reinvest in the squad. For me that's where we fall down. Webber and Farke should've been rewarded for their success with increased budgets as well as support to keep our best players. Ok it's riskier long term but parachute payments should cover us in the event of a total mess up in recruitment. At Prem level you can't keep losing the best players and expect to compete.
