VAR Protocol 2 is a right old f**kun lol

"2. The referee must always make a decision, i.e. the referee is not permitted to give ‘no decision’ and then use the VAR to make the decision; a decision to allow play to continue after an alleged offence can be reviewed".

So if he doesn't make a decision then he cannot go back to review his non decision on VAR to see if his decision not to make a decision was the correct decision and thus the non decision would stand? Right.
