Amen to that-

This weekend I've seen women yelling at each other in Sainsbury's over a badly worn mask, a virtually deserted Christmas market and empty high street.

I've also seen the fear in the eyes of a pub/ restaurant owner as he told me how 70% booking cancellations have left him on his knees again with fridges full of food to throw out and staff sent home because he simply can't afford to pay them.

Plenty of Amazon vans buzzing around though, so at least the income support subsidised low paid can deliver the stay at homers their shiny things and keep Jeff in rockets.
