but if they're going to make it work it needs to be added-value stuff that people really want to read, like in-depth player interviews maybe (present or past), high-quality longer reads, not match report stuff like Paddy's Pointers and player ratings, or Iwan or Robin Sainty's weekly columns.

Fact is there is SO MUCH free NCFC content out there from bloggers, podcasters etc, why pay for run of the mill content? And if you want to pay for NCFC content, MJB's stuff is better, and cheaper (on one of the Athletic's deals).
