That’s the thing though

Running to be an MP is a horrendous process and being one is awful. It’s a job I’d hate and I think most people would. To want to voluntarily put yourself and your family through all of that s**t requires an ego and a lust for power few people have, thankfully. But people I’d actually like to vote for by and large wouldn’t want the job.

As someone once said, democracy is the worst way to run a country, apart from all of the other ways.
