I agree. I think Silverwood has done an absolutely appalling job

And i'm not convinced by any of the other coaches they have there either.

The catching is sloppy. The bowlers are good but frequently seem to bowl to bad plans/too short and the selection of the team is just regularly wrong. We've destroyed all our spinners and now end up playing an all seam mid 80's attack on a pitch that needs pace and spin having rested our best swing bowlers on a green top.

Root is a massively unconvincing captain as well (just lacks instnct for the key periods/moments) but I think he'd be a lot better with an improved coaching team behind him.
