why are hacks given the divine right to front row seats to snipe at the prime minister

and senior medics? why don't they get some senior representitives of sectors/professional organisations/trade bodies like; hospitality, education, logistics, small businesses etc that are all likely to get extremely adversely affected by governmental covid appoach so they can bat for their corner/workers instead of some politically driven agenda pushing hack that is duty bound to toe the media moguls party line? or has this happened and i missed it which is entirely possible as i try and avoid the ridiculous panto.
