Not iconic though

The only team players that have won the award were Botham 81, Flintoff 05 Wilkinson 03, Gazza 90 (and some others). Incredible, iconic, standout performances.

Sterling was very good in a team that did really well, but it wasn't really a "tell your grandkids" kind of an impact. A couple of goals to win the final would have changed all that though...
