Didn't see Best at CR but did at the Dell

It was the largest crowd Southampton had there before reduced capacity and I was also in the largest crowd at St Marys when we played there in the cup the first season it was open (record didn't last long, though, until the next round of the cup I think).

I became a Canary at 12 when we were going to move to Norfolk (it fell through) but kept going to Saints matches off and on with my mates until I went to my first match at Carrow Road in 1974.
