Dean Smith's pre-Manchester United presser will kick-off at 9am.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
DS: We have got a couple of players who have knocks, and a couple of Covid issues, but we can't give names at the moment. We're just awaiting PCR test results for those players and will wait and see what they are.
DS: That is just a fact of the situation that the country is in at the moment. Cases are rising nationwide and that will impact football.
DS: Brandon (Williams) is ineligible this weekend, which is a shame because I thought he was really good last week.
DS: We are full of respect for Manchester United but that the game is at Carrow Road and we will be targeting points, irrespective of the opponents.
DS: We're in the same league as Manchester United. We won't be fearful of them, we need to be ready to show our quality. I have belief in our players that we can do that.
DS: They are a big hitter. But we are in the same league. We want to win points, especially at home. Our players don't need to be fearful. We will need 8/10s but I believe they can do that.
DS: I think we've played better than the points haul has suggested.
DS: Confidence is growing and should show our group that they can compete at this level against the very best.
DS: I'm really enjoying it here. As soon as I made the decision to come here, I've become immersed in the Norwich bubble. There's a group of players and group of staff all pulling in the same direction.
DS: Mathias Normann won't be available for this weekend. He could make Villa on Tuesday but we'll have to see how he is.
DS: DS: Dimi (Giannoulis) has been training really well and he's in contention this weekend.
DS: If you present Teemu Pukki with that chance (against Spurs) he scores it 8/10. Unfortunately, it was one of those occasions where he didn't. We have good finishers, I see it in training.
DS: Saturday is slightly too early for Sam Byram although he may come into my thinking if we need squad numbers. He's been impressive in training.
DS: We've made changes to Covid protocols. Masks inside the building at Colney, no prolonged meetings and deep-tissue massages are being kept to a minimum.
DS: We have no Covid issues within the coaching staff.
DS: The two missing at the moment will be in the squad tomorrow if their PCR tests come back negative, They are currently being kept away from the group as per protocols.
DS: We will look at a couple of different scenarios around team selection today before finalising that tomorrow.

That's all from the boss this morn.
