In the end I could see that DF’s time had come to an end

But I got annoyed by the usual pundits and some Norwich fans who were incredulous that DF wouldn’t play Gilmour or Cantwell. DF was always a good judge of players form and character and clearly he was right about both players. It took DS half a game to realise Cantwell isn’t currently up to it and today I think he realises that Gilmour isn’t as good as all the hype either.
