Dean Smith's pre-Tottenham Hotspur press conference begins this morning at 9am!
------------------------------------------------------------

DS: “It’s a reasonable start. We felt we should have performed better (at Newcastle).”

DS: “We felt Milot’s was just a slight groin issue, but it’s a bit more significant than that, so we expect him to be out for three or four weeks.”

DS: “Normann had an injection into his pelvic area to help him get back quicker. We’re hoping he’s ready for the Manchester United game.”

DS: "Normann saw the specialist. It’s pain management to get him out playing again."

DS: “I’ve looked at their physical stats since Conte has come in and they’ve all risen. He’s a top coach and a good guy as well.”

DS: “Kane's an all round good player. We won’t underestimate him.”

DS: “We need to Create more chances. We need to be braver on the ball, have more possession, and create more chances.”

DS: “I’ve been impressed by the Academy games. Our 18s were unfortunate against Stoke. I’ve seen the 23s as well and there are some players to like in there.”

DS: “Not looked at January. Not spoken to Stuart about it. I’m still assessing the players we have here.”

DS."I knew Puuki was a good player but didn’t realise quite how good, he is setting a standard for others to follow."

DS: “Todd’s trained with us since we got back from Newcastle. He’s clear now from the Covid-19 issues and available for Sunday."

DS: “Andrew’s a top player and I’ve been pleased with what I’ve seen in training.”

DS: “I felt (Gibson) it was a pairing that played together a lot in the Championship (with Hanley). Defensively we’ve improved as a team.”

DS: “Gibbo’s got a really good number of blocks in, we’ve defended our box really well and he’s got a hell of a diagonal on him as well.”

DS: “Josh Sargent’s work rate and endeavour is there for all to see. If he keeps working hard, his rewards will come.”

That concludes today's press conference.
