I'm a bit more "yes and no"

I have two covid patients in the house at the moment - Mrs USH and no 1 son. So right now, this "wave" feels very real to me.

Mrs USH is sick as a dog. No 1 son is a bit snuffly, and is basically loving a week off school.

I have quite a few colleagues at work that are testing positive, and when I spoke to the school to see if they could ensure they posted classwork to google classroom for No 1 son to keep up, they basically said they couldn't guarantee anything. Too many teachers off, struggling to get stand in teachers, some classes were basically being taken by whoever could keep an eye on them, but with nothing being taught.

So yeah, my personal experience is that this wave is "big", albeit that vaccines seem to be working and nobody I know if becoming seriously unwell.

Would I leap into a sweaty mosh pit at a gig right now? Definitely not. Would I go to the footy? Yes, I think so. Do I feel safe in shops? Yes, I feel I can manage the situation to keep safe. So I'm not s**tting myself or anything, but I'm wary.
