Emi Should get a standing ovation from us

Brilliant player for us and was a huge part of two title wins. i will be thanking him for his time at the club much in the same way I have done when Sutton, Eadie, Bellamy, Maddison and co have returned to Carrow Road.

Webber chucked him under the bus somewhat with his recent comments saying "he didn't want to play us anymore". That is only part of the story and has taken out of context. Emi was promised at the start of last season when he was keen to move on that, if he gave us one more season and got us up we would not stand in his way if an appropriate offer came in. He held up his side of the bargain and the said he wanted the club to do the same, they did and Emi moved on. It was slightly disingenuous the way Webber only stated part of story when he come out and spoke prior to Farke's sacking and tried to use it as an excuse.

One thing is for sure is that he is not going down well at Villa currently. The Villa fans appear to hate him and think he is a fraud. I never thought it was a good fit with him at Villa as trying to fill Grelish's shoes was always going to be tough. Not to mention that their fans have an inflated opinion of how big a club they are and are notoriously fickle.
